 Aishwarya Rai Bacchan: An epitome of beauty and elegance, this diva was the winner of the 1994 Miss World Pageant. An architect by profession, she started off her career as a model for television commercials. Her first feature film was Iruvar, a south India film directed by Mani Ratnam. It won two national awards and in the same year she made her debut in Bollywood alongside Bobby Deol in the movie Aur Pyar Ho Gaya. Although it did not do well at the box office but Aishwarya got the exposure she needed. She received the FilmFare Award for Best Actress for her films Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. She has appeared in a number of Hollywood movies as well like Pink Panther, Bride and Prejudice and Mistress of Spices to name a few. With her marriage to Abhishek Bacchan in the year 2007 she became the daughter in law of the influential Bacchan clan. Although she has taken a sabbatical from work after having a baby, she was seen at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012 in May.

Sushmita Sen: The First miss Universe from India, she is a confident, charming and sophisticated beauty from Bengal. Her first film after winning the pageant was Dastak, where she played a beauty queen being stalked by a psychopath. Her early films did not receive much recognition until she starred in Biwi No1, where she bagged the FilmFare best actress in a supporting role award. She played Shah Rukh Khans love interest in the film Main Hoon Na and was termed by the media as the ‘sexiest woman in a saree’. She is a philanthropist more than an actress and has two adopted children Rene and Alisah. She is also the director of the pageant ‘I Am She –Miss Universe India since 2010 and searches for talented young ladies who can make India proud at the international level.

Priyanka Chopra: Another Miss World pageant winner, she is the reigning queen of Bollywood. Her Bollywood debut was as a supporting actress in the Preity Zinta-Sunny Deol starrer movie Hero: Love Story of a Spy and in the same year she was seen in Raj Kanwar’s hit movie Andaaz. She received the FilmFare best female Debutante award for the latter. She won the National Award for Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion where she played the role of Meghna Mathur, a struggling model. She is also trained in western classical music and is working on her first music album being produced by Universal Music.

Vidya Balan: After delivering a masterpiece performance in Kahaani this year, Vidya Balan had a rough start in the industry but slowly made her niche as the most sought after actress in Bollywood. She is a woman of substance and has some amazing films to her credit. She made her debut in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Parineeta where she played the protagonist ‘Lolita’. It was critically acclaimed and she won the best Debutante Award at the FilmFare. After that there was Bhool Bhulaiyya, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Guru and the very recent The Dirty Picture which grossed a good amount at the box office.

Katrina Kaif: Relatively new to the film industry, this British-Indian actress debuted in Kaizad Gustad’s forgettable movie Boom. Even though her Hindi is heavily accented, she has acted in many hit films like Singh is King, Namastey London, Race and Rajneeti. She has recently won accolades for her item number in the Hrithik Roshan starrer Agneepath.

Kareena Kapoor backs out of film with Emraan Hashmi

Kareena Kapoor has been dubbed as the Rs 100 crore heroine after giving three superhits with the Khans. But the leading lady of Bollywood is now ready to experiment and has been signing films with other actors.

After a hit with Imran Khan in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Kareena went on to sign her next project opposite two-film old Ranveer Singh. But she isn't comfortable with serial-kisser Emraan Hashmi just yet. The Kapoor-lady, who is busy wrapping up her much-awaited project Heroine, has refused to work with Dirty Emraan.

This comes after reports that Bebo had given the nod to Ekta kapoor and Karan Johar's ambitious venture- an urban, quirky take on love. The Chammak Challo girl will reportedly be busy with her wedding preparations and has thus decided to bow out. 

Reports suggest that Om Shanti Om girl Deepika Padukone has already bagged this project. 

 

With an unusual cast, let's hope this story clicks just as well as Vidya-Emraan's The Dirty Picture.

JAIPUR: Film star Veena Malik dazzled the audience with her glamour on the third day of Jaipur International Fashion Week (JFIW).

The Pakistani actress who has now become a sizzling star of Bollywood modled the dresses of Mumbai based designer Riyaz Gangj.

Being a show stopper, the gorgeous Veena Malik, held the breath of many as she walked with a black long gown wrapped around.

No doubt, she made the show a big success.

Mumbai: All the controversies that Veena Malik created has finally paid off.

According to reports, Swayamvar Season 4 – Veena Ka Vivaah has set a record with 71,240 entries from candidates ready to take part in the show.

By comparison it is nearly 23,000 more than the last season which had Ratan Rajput as the bride. The Pakistani controversy queen can now boast of being the most in demand among others. Rakhi Sawant (30,000), Rahul Mahajan (43,000) and Ratan Rajput (54,000), were the previous contestants.

Surprisingly a large number of entries are from abroad. Reports say that Pakistan, UK and US dominate the foreign category. However, the maximum number of entries is from India.

Veena was reportedly over the moon with the response.

North India dominated the Indian entries with 41 percent. Mumbai and Pune follow at 38%. What left even Veena amazed was that a good number of entries were from Poland.

Commenting on the staggering number of entries Veena opined that the beauty, family values and tradition of the Indian and Pakistani girls are what attracts people from across the world.

Not the one to let go of an opportunity of self-praise, Veena said that her boldness could be the reason why a majority of North Indian's are attracted to her.

However, only 116 entries were shortlisted of which Veena selected 40. She is yet to choose 16 finalists from among them.

Only Rahul Mahajan got married on the show. Ratan Rajput and Rakhi Sawant did not marry. On her part Veena says she is in search of a soulmate. 

Sunny Leone hotting up for JISM 2

Sunny Leone the Indo-Canadian adult film star is embarking on her first Bollywood film, Jism 2. The movie a sequel to the bold and sensual 2003 Jism, will feature Sunny as the lead female. She is very excited and is making an extra effort by following a fitness and health regime to make her look amazingly hot and sexy in the film.

Sunny Leone is on a regime of toning up and a balanced diet to look as hot as she can for her first Bollywood movie, Jism 2. The Indo-Canadian porn star will play the female lead in the Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt sequel to Jism, which starred Bipasha Basu in the bold lead role.

Sunny was formally announced as the Jism 2 girl by Pooja Bhatt further to her stint on Big Boss 5 (the Indian TV equivalent to Big Brother in the UK) in 2011. Sunny will be joined by Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda as her ‘love interests’ in the new film which takes to the floors in April 2012.

Mahesh Bhatt said of the two male leads: “Yes. They both are right for the roles. Arunoday has the physical attributes and sensitivity needed to deliver what we expect from this role.” And added: “One is dark and brooding and the other has a more flamboyant, swashbuckling personality. Sunny is the diva.”

Bhatt also revealed that: “Imran Zahid will be playing a key role in JISM 2. This young man from Bokaro,Jharkand has certainly come a long way!”

Sunny has been working hard to make sure her debut movie is going to be a success. She is aiming to make herself to be even hotter and sexier than Bipasha. Sunny said: “Yes I am working on getting fit for Jism 2. There are a lot of sexy scenes in the movie.”

But when asked what kind of sex scenes, she replied: “For everyone asking! Sex is illegal in movies in india!!!!” Sexy scenes, but no sex, guys.”

Being on Big Boss 5 helped her lose weight too. Speaking of the show she said: “I lost 12 pounds on the show and now I’m just trying to tone up for Jism2.” Apart from the workout and good eating habits,

Apart from regular physical workouts, Sunny has been keenly following special low-fat diet and also following Bikaram Choudhary’s Yoga classes.

To make sure her pronunciations meet the expectations of audiences and the director, Leone is also busy taking Hindi lessons. A similar feat to Katrina Kaif when she first started in Bollywood. Talking about her lessons, Sunny tweeted: “At the gym and also taking audio Hindi lessons! Hindi Hindi Hindi!”

Sunny will be growing her hair long and lush for Jism 2. “I had a haircut after going home from India to make it healthy. I really want my hair to grow really fast right now for Jism 2,” said Leone.

There has also been talk at the rumour mill of Sunny being considered for an item number in Ram Gopal Varma’s film Department. But sources say that Sunny signed a contract with the Bhatts which stipulates she would not do anything apart from Jism 2 whilst working on the film. To quash this buzz, Leone tweeted and said:

            “Everything else you hear in the news is not true. I am going to make my debut with @jism2        

             ONLY!!!! I LOVE @jism2(sic).”

The initial poster for Jism 2 has raised questions too if the woman wrapped in a wet cloth is Sunny Leone. Because many say it was produced before Sunny was signed for the film. This is possible because the girl in the image has longer legs than Sunny and also protruding ribcage, which does not match the voluptuous figure of Leone.

ism 2 is much awaited and many wonder how the Indian censor board will react to the film based on the noise about it so far and how will the Bhatts aim to get round the board? Mahesh stated:

“The Censor Board allows us only that much. We will operate within what the law of the land permits. The idea is to make a film with a coherent narrative instead of one, which only titillates. The physical and sensual experience of this film will give the viewers a spiritual one.”

So, now all eyes will be on what the Bhatts will produce using Sunny Leone, an open minded sex symbol and porn star from Canada in her first Bollywood film, which should be lighter work for her compared to her previous ‘more demanding’ filming roles. And the question on everyone’s mind is will Sunny Leone be hotter and bolder than Bipasha Basu in the Jism sequel?

Bipasha Basu says she had a ‘very uncomfortable’ time kissing R Madhavan

 The dusky beauty, Bipasha Basu, is known best for her bold performances but the actress has insisted that she still gets very nervous during a kissing scene, which might be a shocking news many out there.

India’s very own Bong beauty, who recently proved her glam avatar in ‘Players’, told the media that she became a good friend of Madhavan during the film’s shooting yet kissing him on screen was a very uncomfortable experience for her.

The 33-year-old will resume shooting for her Hollywood film ‘Singularity’ in April and after getting done with it, she will participate in Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Raaz 3’, which will be released in July this year.

‘Raaz 3’, which is sequel to the 2002 hit film ‘Raaz’, will have a lot of lust, love and fear in it and therefore Bipasha is also nervous about ‘Raaz 3’.

“I am scared of kissing on screen. Yes, on-screen kissing nerves me to death and I had a really very uncomfortable experience in `Jodi Breakers` with R Madhavan who is a friend.”

“I had to kiss him, it was important for the film, so there was no convincing that was required. I knew I would do it but the process is not easy. Even for `Raaz 3`, it’s not going to be easy but don’t scare me from now. When it comes to it, we shall see,” she added. Daily times monitor.

Currently, Madhavan is on a weight-loss mission and Bipasha, who is fitness freak, is helping him out and the actress is very possessive about him as well.

Recently, both stars faced a lot of criticism on their kissing scene. It was said that perhaps Madhavan had eaten onions before shooting the scene and Bipasha had to rush to her room to get herself rid off the smell.

While responding to the news an irked Bipasha Basu tweeted, “Disgusting and ridiculous news about me and Maddy`s kissing scene today in one of the dailies! Looks like the people who wrote it kissed Maddy for the scene!”

 

Now, Veena Malik as 'supermodel'

After Kareena Kapoor's " Heroine", it's time for 'Super Model' Veena Malik. Post her much-hyped relationship with Ashmit Patel on reality show "Bigg Boss", Veena is all set to romance Ashmit again, but this time on the silver screen.
And to top it all, the film is titled "Super Model". As the name suggests, the movie will have Veena Malik portraying the main character.
As controversy's favorite child, Veena's life has also gone through many phases and controversies. And that's the reason why director Navin Batra chose Veena for the lead role. "In real life, Veena has been a professional and successful model and actress across the border. She was the apt choice to play the lead in my film," explains Batra.
"Her body language, style and poise are that of a super model. Many from the industry and media have endorsed this view. So, I didn't have to think twice before roping in Veena. Shooting of the film will be done in Fiji, Australia and a few other scenic locations," says Batra, throwing more light on the project.

Nathalia Kaur: Ram Gopal Verma's new item girl 

Mumbai: If the buzz from the sets of Department are any indication, it looks like Ram Gopal Varma is all set to recreate the magic of the 'Khallas' song from Company. The filmmaker recently got choreographer Ganesh Acharya to shoot the Dan Dan number with Indo-Brazilian hottie, Nathalia Kaur, who was also a calendar girl.
Apparently, Sanjay Dutt strongly recommended her for the song, while the filmmaker was keen on shooting it with his latest muse, Madhu Shalini.
While RGV has shot another song with MS, it seems he's impressed with Nathalia as he hasn't haven't seen any other girl with more expressions along with an angel-like body!

Fardeen Khan bereaved over sister's death
Fardeen Khan's close family member, Sonia Sethia, wife of businessman Rajendra Sethia, was killed in a car crash in New Delhi in the early hours of Monday. She was rushed to the AIIMS where she was declared dead. Fardeen was present at the hospital.
Dharmesh Darshan to write and direct his first Punjabi film
