The dusky beauty, Bipasha Basu, is now 33 but she is still enjoying her single status and the actress, in her exclusive interview with ‘Times of India’, has explained why it is important for her to enjoy her single status.
Indian own Bong Beauty, Bipasha, told the media that the main reason behind why most of the relations break is not tolerance but lack of love.
Bipasha remained in a serious affair with the Indian actor Dino Morea but their relationship ended in 2002 and then the new man in her life was none other than Bollywood superstar, John Abraham. Bipasha and John’s couple gained a lot of popularity especially after Mahesh Bhatt’s hit film ‘Jism’, in which they played lead roles opposite to each other.
However, after breaking up with John, last year, Bipasha has decided to stay single for a while since she believes in order to find happiness one should always take care of herself and wait for the right time.
Bipasha stated, “When both partners realize that there is no love between them then there is no point to carry on! Forget tolerance, lack of love between couples is resulting in separation after years of togetherness. But having said that, no I am not a feminist nor am I a cynic. But I will definitely take time to choose my soulmate.”
Bipasha added, “If you want a baby then there are sperm banks. Personally I still believe in fairy tale romances and know that my soulmate will come to me. I have two married friends and they advise me, ‘Bipasha, drag this as long as you can.’”
The fitness freak of the B-town, who was recently seen in ‘Jodi Breakers’, is now looking forward to the upcoming films like ‘Raaz 3D’, ‘Race 2’ and ‘Ghayal Returns’.
Bipasha is also doing a Hollywood film ‘Singularity’, in which she is playing a role opposite to Hollywood’s superstar Josh Harnett. Previously ‘Singularity’ was facing some financial issues but now everything has been sorted out and Bipasha will start off with the shooting in April.
